of our Golden Jubilee celebrations.
February
2002 edition of 'Classics' has a six page comparative road test
between club member Peter Gilbert's 1958 Singer Gazelle Series II
and a 1958 Wolseley 15/50.

2003 edition of 'Classic & Sportscar' has a four page article
about the 1934 Singer 1½ Litre BLN 291originally owned by
Betty Haigh and the only car ever to win an Olympic gold medal.

The
question most frequently asked about any Singer model is "How
many are there?". In an attempt to answer this Singer Clubs
around the world participated in a survey of all the models owned
by club members. Obviously this does not represent the total number
of surviving Singers, there is no way of knowing this, but it does
give a clue. Worldwide, members own 1369 vehicles with 264 different
